St Paul’s offers the Cambridge AS level for Art and Design. Art is compulsory for Grade 7 and 8 and during these years students are exposed to different techniques and media. At the end of Grade 8, 9 and 10 students will have the opportunity to choose whether to continue with the subject through to Grade 12.
From Grade 10 to Grade 12, the focus on the curriculum is sharpened. Students are required to take two examinations; one externally set examination paper as well as coursework.
Students can choose from traditional media such as fine art, ceramics, sculpting and printing or digital media such as photography, digital painting and design.
