Children who feel safe and respected are able to learn and develop fully. We have a Positive Behaviour System that looks at exemplary and expected behaviour, as well as responsibilities of each individual.

Bullying is anti-social behaviour and affects everyone. It is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. We ask for parents and scholars to immediately report any incidents, so that we can deal firmly and fairly should bullying arise.

As with all other areas of our school, self-discipline is dependent on teamwork between staff and parents.

Code of Conduct

Our school thrives on building a safe and nurturing space for all scholars and staff.

The discipline system for Gr R – 3 is consultative, working together with parents and giving limited consequences to reinforce positive behavioral patterns. While communication with parents is the preferred option, stricter protocols are followed from Grade 4 to ensure that socially acceptable behaviour becomes the norm.

The school does not allow an individual child to obstruct the ethos and environment that the school stands for. As a reassurance to parents, full disciplinary procedures are only followed through on rare occasions.
This is adopted when support and requests have not been responded to and the required improvement has not been made.

“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
